University of Trento opened a call for the appointment of 2 Research Fellowships(Assegni di Ricerca) within the "Temporary Protection Project Scholar at Risk-UniTrento" (deadline 30th of September). The duration of the fellowship is 12 months starting approximately from December 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter. The contract may be renewable for an additional 12 months, depending on the availability of funding and the evaluation of the first year of research by the tutor and the hosting academic structure
The project is co-founded by the Autonomous Province of Trento, and is addressed to being foreign citizens in one of the following situations:
1. Possession of refugee status in Italy or in another European Union State;
2. Recognition of subsidiary protection status in Italy or in another European Union State;
3. Presentation of an official request for the recognition of the refugee status or of subsidiary protection status in Italy or in another European Union State, and to be already recognised as an “at-risk scholar” by SAR (SARstatus);
4. Residing in Italy or in another European Union State and to be already recognised as an “at-risk scholar” by SAR;
5. Living in a non-EU country and to be already recognised as an “at-risk scholar” by SAR.
The call is open for all the departments of the University of Trento, but in order to apply the person should already hold a PhD title relevant to the research project.
